My name is Melanie, and I have been on the most amazing journey of creativity for 30 years and I am just getting started! It all began after high school, I wanted to go to college but I didn't know what to go for, so I chose commercial art. I really enjoyed arts and crafts. I attended for a year and dropped out, however I realized I had an ability to draw portraits. Over the years, I continued to draw whenever I found the time. My desire grew stronger to do something with art in a way that could bless others, and for many years I had no idea how I could accomplish that desire.

One day, in 2016 I stumbled across a gallery that was looking for artists, so I ended up agreeing to volunteer a few hours a week to have my art work displayed at no charge. The downside of volunteering was I had to teach customers how to paint a picture. I had a problem: I had a huge disdain for paint; I didn't know anything about it and didn't want to. With encouragement I was reluctant to attempt to paint a picture. What a surprise! I did really well! The creative gates opened up after that, and a few moths later, I started my first small business and did traveling paint parties. I continued to do that until 2020 and then business just stopped due to lockdowns.

I continued to paint because my passion for it just kept growing and it is therapeutic. In August of 2022 I hit the pavement trying to find places I could have paint classes, until I encountered another artist who ended up hiring me for a short time to help with Murals. It came very easy to me and gave me so much joy to paint and help others with what I paint, so I started my own small business of doing murals on windows and walls. My passion and creativity continues to grow daily and I am so blessed to share it with so many people and businesses.
